The elements of colour and line are vitally important in Shahram's art; they are beautifully blended, creating a unique style, where the emotions of love and happiness, joy and delight are often manifested within the viewer.
I am a Baha'i resident of Bahrain. I have been living in the Kingdom for 40 years now, and so I consider it my homeland. I discovered my talent for art back in elementary school, and ever since I always seemed to excel in art class. However, as I got older, my progress in art wasn’t that remarkable, mainly because I couldn’t find any talented teachers to guide me, and there was no Internet to learn from at the time. It was only when, at 20 years-old, I took part in a course 'Hannibal Al-Khas' that I really felt that my art was progressing once again, and when I was 30 years-old, I obtained my Master Art Diploma from USA.
Years ago, when there were no shopping centres in Bahrain and people used to go to Azari Park for walking and recreation, I would always be the first there to do some quick portraits for the people.
At the age of 40, I started my more imaginary art work which, as I used a combination of lines and beautiful colours, slowly developed into my own unique style, using the brightness and light from figurative or representational styles, and the colour and lines from abstract styles. Love is one of the highest energy levels a person can have, and I hope that this is seen by most people, in most of my art.
